Habitat: This Fremont-Winema National Forest fee campground site has Ponderosa Pine, open water, and lakeshore habitats.

Birds: This is a great place to watch nesting (June to August) Bald Eagle and Osprey capture fish over open water. Test your identification skills on Western and Clark's Grebes on the reservoir or look in the forested areas for Western Tanager and Red-breasted Sapsuckers. Common Loons are rare visitors in the fall.

Directions: In the community of Silver Lake, turn S on FR 28 for 13 miles to FR 014, then go W
