5. Cedar Creek Trailhead
Habitat: Upper Trailhead: The Cedar Creek Trailhead lies in conifer habitats dissected by Cedar Creek and its accompanying meadow. Aspen stands provide a network of color in the fall. Lower Trailhead: Runs along Cedar Creek, which creates riparian habitat, including mixed shrubs such as choke cherry and wild roses.
Birds: Pileated Woodpecker, Spotted Towhees, Cordilleran Flycatchers
Directions: The Lower trailhead is located 2.6 mi W. of Cedarville in a pull out on the S. side of Hwy 299. The Upper Trailhead is at the Cedar Pass Ski Area, 4.7 mi W. of Cedarville on Hwy 299; then 0.6 miles W. on the Ski Hill Rd.
